London Fashion Week is one of the most popular trade-shows of fashions. In this show, there is a wide range of fashion events which are hosted in London each year 2 times. Once it is hosted in February and once in the month of September. The London fashion show made its place in the list of 4 most important fashion shows of the world, other 3 being Milan, Paris and New York. The show is targeted to present some of the best fashion designs which are crafted by leading and upcoming fashion designers of the world. The show comprises of ‘’how to” as well as ‘’buy now” fashion show displays.  The show makes an effort to win the attention of fashion enthusiast’s people from all corners of the globe.

London Fashion Week was hosted for the first time in the month of October in the year 1983. The British Fashion Council in collaboration with the London Development Agency organised this event. They took the responsibility of sending an invitation to the designers and also for making the necessary arrangement of this event venue. Besides these 2 bodies, The Department for Business, skills, and Innovation also joined hands for the show arrangements with the mission to promote the talents of London fashion designers. After the very first show of this fashion event, traders’ visualised it as a significant opportunity to promote their products, and the decision was taken by them to give funding for the event. Some of the major investors of this event include Mercedes-Benz and Toni & Guy.

The bi-annual event of London Fashion Week 2018 is about to start and this is great news for the fashion fans of UK. The event will offer some insight into what is going to be in fashion and what chance we will be getting in wearing in next season. One can also get an idea of what to invest currently. It is going to be a ticketed event and will be hosted at The Store Studios, 180 Strand, in central London. The designers along with their Showstoppers, models and the complete team will showcase the designs in their show from 150 international and British brands. From 16 – 20 February 2018, the designers will showcase their Autumn Winter 2018 (AW18) collections. The British Fashion Council (BFC) will be presiding over this 1-week long show.  The main action of this show will be organized at Store Studios at 180 Strand and the Ambika P3 Show Space located at 35 Marylebone Road in London.
