While most may view art studies as a waste of time, others see it as their passion and true calling in life. The top London universities to study arts in are some of the most respected in Europe, if not the whole world. While it’s not super easy landing a job with a degree in art, like it is with a business or marketing degree, for a large number of young creative people it’s the only sane choice. In a world that is overrun by numbers, finances, stone cold facts, it’s refreshing to see people who are interested in being creative and wanting to create their own little works of art which will hopefully resonate with others. Being a designer or an artist doesn’t require a person to have any sort of degree, this is true. However, students learn about the techniques and mindsets which lead great artists to create works that are now of historic importance. Sometimes breaking these rules leads to great new advances in the field of the arts, but an individual needs to know those rules in the first place. This is partially why a degree in art or design comes in handy.
